Description
Recombinant alpha-synuclein (SYUA_HUMAN, P37840).
Alpha-synuclein may be involved in the regulation of dopamine release and transport. Induces fibrillization of microtubule-associated protein tau. Reduces neuronal responsiveness to various apoptotic stimuli, leading to a decreased caspase-3 activation.
The alpha-synuclein can be used as reference for assessment of calibration curves, using the labelled synuclein as internal standard.
